Emadeldin Hassanin

Research interest:

Emadeldin Hassanin is a PhD student focused on the analysis of GWAS, and modelling genetic risk scoring for polygenic diseases. He investigates biostatistical methods for integrating the effect of both rare high impact variants and polygenic components to assess the individual risk to diseases.

2020 – present: PhD student at the Institute for Genomic Statistics and Bioinformatics (IGSB).

2019 – 2020: Bioinformatics Intern at Megeno company.

2018 – 2019:  Student research assistant at Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB), Bioinformatics Core.

2017 – 2019: MSc in integrated systems biology, University of Luxembourg.
