Research Interest

I am a PhD-Student working transdisciplinary at the Institute of Nutrition and Food Science; Nutrition and Microbiota (https://www.bonn-gut.uni-bonn.de/en) under the supervision of Jun.Prof. Marie-Christine Simon and at Institute of Genomics Statistics and Bioinformatics (www.igsb.uni-bonn.de/en) under supervision of Prof. Peter Krawitz.

I am interested in using deep learning & machine learning models to solve bioinformatics problems. I am currently working on analyzing the impact of dietary intervention(s)/synbiotics on the gut-brain axis. I am focusing on the role of the gut microbiome in the intervention projects.
